Lake Jocassee encompasses 7,500 acres and surrounded by mountains, waterfalls, and 75 miles of shoreline. Located within the Jocassee Gorges Wilderness and known for its deep and pristine waters, this lake offers not only outstanding boating and fishing but beautiful steep cliffs and natural grandeur. Take a guided tour of its waterfalls, hike in the lush wooded Devils Fork State Park, or hop on a jet ski and explore the lake’s many inlets. On the east side of Lake Keowee is Table Rock State Park, offering the most challenging hiking trails in the state park system. Get away to a cabin in the mountains for a weekend retreat or enjoy fishing at Pinnacle Lake and Lake Oolenoy. Encompassing 3,083 acres, this park is close enough for frequent day trips.
