In the mid 1990's, Duke Power's real estate arm, Crescent Resources, launched
an aggressive plan to develop some of the most beautiful parcels of land along
the shoreline of Lake Keowee. Known for their suburban conveniences while maintaining
their rustic charm, "Crescent Communities" are home to about 2,000 families that
have a full or part time connection to Lake Keowee. Most Crescent Communities
boast
sidewalks, streetlights, clubhouses, tennis courts, boat slips, and amenity areas.
The primary appeal for many who choose to consider property or homes in Crescent
Communities is the high standards of community living that protect and maintain
property values: conservative and enforced community covenants and restrictions
and architectural standards.
A few of the Crescent Communities that many of our clients choose as their home
on Lake Keowee include:

established community. Offering 98 homesites, residents enjoy the lovely waterfront
