Bob and Jennifer Bacon
 Like many who start their foray into retirement by heading south to the sandy
beaches of Florida, it didn't take Bob and Jennifer Bacon long to figure out that
the oppressive summer heat and the constant threat of hurricanes made life a little
less appealing than the marketing materials promised. As their grown children eventually
married and started families of their own, they made a conscious decision to take
the next step: to find a place that was really a good fit for their lifestyle
and where they could be reasonably close to their children in Atlanta and Charlotte.Bob and Jennifer didn't have to throw a dart to find the center of the Atlanta-Charlotte
corridor.... they quickly remembered their frequent trips to Clemson University
when their daughter was a student there and thought the Clemson area might be
a good place to start. They also remembered their frequent trips to Lake Keowee
during those days, and were anxious to explore the area again with a different
agenda in mind: building the home of their dreams on the water's edge.
Coming back to Lake Keowee has been a great experience for Bob and Jennifer;
they have enjoyed the process of finding the perfect place to call home. They
love being so close to family and the great lifestyle that this area offers.
While they seldom had company when they lived in Destin, Florida, now it seems
like a revolving door!
Originally from Pennsylvania (Bob) and Ohio (Jennifer), the Bacons have lived
in the southeastern United States during the last 26 years, primarily in North
Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia and Florida. Bob's corporate experience in
Retail & Personnell Management with the Sears Corporation gave him the opportunity
to live in many great cities throughout his career. While in Florida, Bob and
Jennifer owned and operated a very successful printing company with multiple locations
in the area. The perfect team, Bob and Jennifer's clients greatly benefit from
their complimentary skill sets and enjoy their professional and relaxed approach
to real estate sales.
